Mone's recommended/not recommended plugins

This can be said for any plugin, but if you have never used a plugin before, try it out in a test environment first, and if you decide you want to continue using it, then put it into production.

Recommended Plugins

One SEO plugin.

Mone believes that SEO settings should be part of a plugin. If you want to optimize your site for search results, install an SEO-related plugin.

It’s fine if you have one that you’re familiar with.

Here are some popular SEO plugins

Install only one of them.

Yoast SEO and All In One SEO are overseas SEO-focused companies, so they allow for detailed settings. However, they are geared towards more advanced users, with some settings that beginners don’t need to worry about.

Backup plugins

You should have a system in place to restore your backup if something happens.

It’s safer to keep several backups not only on the server but also on cloud services. I use both All-in-One WP Migration and Backup and BackWPup.

Deprecated Plugins

Classic Editor

This theme is a block theme, so if you use the classic editor, it will not perform to its full potential. We recommend using the block editor.

Gutenberg

The Gutenberg plugin is a plugin for trying out upcoming features in WordPress. It is not required for operation. It’s great to try it out!

That’s it.

To reiterate, if you have never used a plugin before, try it out in a test environment first, and if you decide you want to keep using it, then put it into production.
